You have two small, plain, unmarked hourglasses. One measures four minutes, the other measures seven. Using only these, how can you measure a time of nine minutes?

Turn over both hourglasses simultaneously. When the four-minute hourglass finishes, immediately turn it over. When the seven-minute hourglass finishes, immediately turn it over. The second time the four-minute hourglass finishes, the seven-minute hourglass will have been running for one minute, so immediately turning it over will record the final minute. Nine minutes in total will have elapsed.

Tina will be 97 years old when Mark is 100 years old. When Tom was 6 years old, Tina was 3 years old. 94 years later, he becomes 100 years old. And 94 years later, his sister will be 97 (94 + 3) years old.

A boy and an engineer were fishing. The boy is the son of the engineer but engineer is the father of the boy. Then who is the engineer?
